Sport Relief

Our school took part in raising money for Sport Relief. We had a non uniform day and came to school in our sporty clothes. Through the week the School Council sold Sport Relief wristbands at the school gate every morning. During Friday every class had been challenged to walk a mile. School Council had measured the field and worked out that if 5 children walked a lap at the same time, they will have walked a mile between them, so altogether a class of 30 children will have walked 6 miles! Each class chose their own special way of doing the lap. Class 1 walked in their wellies, while Class 4 did the conga! The Reception classes took their teddies for a walk as you can see in the pictures. The school netball team challenged the staff to a netball match. First the LSAs had a game against the teaching staff, which they won. They went on to play the school netball team which they won too! Apart from a few injuries, everyone had a great time and we raised a fantastic sum of £406.00.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
